This courtship display didn't end in happiness.

 

A bright Pyrgus skipper found throughout central and northern Scandinavia. In 2010 I found it fairly commonly on the majority of bogs searched. In 1999 I found none. The two seasons were very different, that of 1999 being much earlier than that of 2010.
