Field notes and information

ARIZONA April 2015: On of the three emperors associated with the Hackberry. This is the only one we saw. It was widespread. We were probably slightly too early for the other 2 similar species.

It patrolled rides and river courses where there were bushes. It frequently rests on bushes and uses them for shade in the heat of the day.
