I fail to see any difference between this species and the Baton Blue, P. baton, although the underside orange hindwing markings are brighter and bolder in vicrama. In these rather variable species, I'm not sure I'd like to claim this as 100% sure. Above all else, location is the key. Italy and west is baton, east is vicrama. Genetalial studies (by others!) has mapped this distributional relationship between the species.
