Unusually for
the female it is lacking any orange upperside markings. |

I don't appear to have a male to show for this
species. At least that is if you believe my P. argyrognomon
aren't infact idas. Generally specking idas resembles the
Silver Studdied Blue, P. argus very
closely but differs in lacking a hook on the male
foreleg tibia. The black borders are usually much finer than in argus
but this rule doesn't always hold. For a discussion on argyrognomon
