Could be other species mixed in this group of salt/ liquid taking males.

This is a widespread and often common species. It is supposedly the commonest and most widespread of several very similar butterflies. Generally this butterfly has clear upperside markings consisting of irregular sized bands of orange rectangles. Markings are usually strong.
